Suzy Dodd, my birthmother. I was born 11/7/1956 at Rest Cottage in Pilot Point, Texas. Court documents name Suzy Dodd as my birthmother. She gave me the name Mellanie at birth. Suzy was living with her brother before moving in at Rest Cottage, and working at Gulf Oil in the Snyder Texas area. She had polio in 1952. Her mother had been killed in a car accident before I was born. Suzy was 19 years old according to the papers she filled out at RC, born in 1937. Height 5'3" with brown hair. She was a high school graduate. Her mother was born in 1913, was 5'5" tall with auburn hair. Suzy's father was born in 1910, was 6'1" tall with blond hair and blue eyes. He was an electrical engineer. My birth father was born in 1936, was 5'11" tall with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He was in college and worked in the oil fields in the summer.
