Both parents died in 20's while living in Seminole, OK. Twin brothers, Lester/Chester (age 21) working in Wash. State logging camp. Sister Irene (age 18) living with Brown family in OK. About 5'3", 115 lbs., brown hair, lt. olive complexion. Maternal grandfather - Thelbert Brady, born 1909-10, lived in Anadarko, OK around 1929 and in Seminole, OK 1930 where he worked in oil fields. Mother, Maud, ran a cafe in Seminole. Had a sister 3 years older. Father, Christopher, was app. 30 yrs older than Mother. 6' tall, 145 lbs., very dark complexion - possibly Indian, dark hair and eyes.
My mother was born in the Holmes Home of Redeeming Love on Feb. 17, 1931. She was adopted by John and Mamie Pierce, Walters, OK about 1 week later. Her birth name was Wanda Lee Shepheard. Her adopted name was Jo Ann Pierce. She died in 1957 and we children are looking for her family.
