Been searching forty years for parents of Alford/Alfred C. Sharp born 1851 TN died 1898 Perry Co., AR, married (1)Mary "Mollie" McAllister Carroll Co, MO. She died 1879 Perry Co, AR then Alford married (2)Mary Alice Lackey and had several children. Siblings of Alford were: Eunice A. born 1847 TN died 1935 KY who married Dr. John H. Scott, both died in KY; Mollie, who married J. Jones 1883; Catherine; and Isaac/Isac who lived in CO. Cannot find Alford or siblings in any census before 1880.
He was in Perry Co., AR 1880 census listed with B-I-L, no wife no child. Tried spelling SHARP different ways, no luck. If anyone has ever found these people in any census prior to 1880 please contact me before I die.
