I am searching for my half-sister whom my mother gave up for adoption before myself and my brother were born. She was born on August 4, 1975 at St. Lukes Hospital in Cedar Rapids, IA. Her name given at birth was Chanel Renee McGinty and her birth mother's name is Rebecca Lynn McGinty and her birth father's name is Larry Beckman (although Im not sure that his name appears on the birth certificate as they were not married at the time). Her adoption was handled by Luthern Family Services. I would love to find her and get in contact with her.
