1850 Federal Census; District # 1, Jefferson Co., Kentucky, Roll # 206, Page # 4, ED. 31st of July shows Martin G. to be 41 years old and married to Rosamond and to have 3 children and a step-son at home and that Martin G. is employed as a Contable.
1860 Federal Census; District # 2, Jefferson Co., Kentucky, Roll # 377, Page # 915, ED. 6th of June shows Martin G. to be 51 years old and married to Rosanna and to have 3 children at home and that Martin G. is employed as a Keeper of a Work House.
1870 Federal Census; Louisville, Ward 12, Jefferson Co., Kentucky, Roll # 476, Page # 626b, ED. 21st of June shows Martin G. to be 61 years old and married to Rosamond and to have 1 child and a domestic servant at home and that he is employed as a policeman.
