I am looking for Dodsons of Afro-American heritage.
I was born in Fort scott, Kansas, but my grandfather's people come fro Tennessee. I am almost certain that my surname was derived from white slave owners (Dodson).
I have only been able to trace back to my great-grandfather, Robert T. Dodson.
