Hi there,
I am doing some family research and I would like to obtain some
records on the following: (They are my great grandparents.)
Fred "Alfred" Ladd and Hallie Phillips
They were married in Warren County TN
They lived in Delaware County as a married couple on the 1920 census.
The 1930 census show them as being divorced.
I also think he worked for Ball Bros.
Is there any record of this man? I have found a copy of his
obiturary. If it is for the correct man he died in Berne IN and was remarried twice. My family members do not believe it is accurate.
I have been unable to trace him definitively past 1920. Any
suggestions of what I could search for that would have his parents
names on it?
We do not know where he was born. The obituary statesPA, but the census lists MN. I am leaning towards MN.
Please let me know the best way to do this. I can't get to Muncie through the week due to my work schedule.
I have also wondered if there is possibly a criminal record for Fred
"Alfred" Ladd.
He just disappeared after the 1930 census.

I have run into a dead-end when searching fro information about Fred.
If you have any other documents or suggestions of where I can find
something that lists his parents names I would appreciate it.
