Mary Elizabeth Regan was born in October, 1899 in Minnesota (her last name was spelled Reagan at that time) and she died in November, 1982 in Humboldt, Humboldt County, Iowa. She was my great aunt. She was institutionalized during most of her life as far as we know, since she was a girl, though her parents often took her on outings, until they died in the 1930s. We would like to know what happened to her after her parents died. Did she leave the institution? We don't even know what institution it was, or where. We only know where and when she died. Her parents did not live in Humboldt County, but they lived nearby in Webster County. Mary was buried in Fort Dodge, Iowa, in Sacred Heart Cemetery, where her brother Charles Francis Reagan was buried.
