My grandfather was John Yochum married to Jennie Bowen parents True & Ida Bowen. My mother was Mary Elizabeth Yochum. She gave me up for adoption at birth. Found each other and was with her at the end.
Her husband keep all her personal items so I have no family information.
All I know is my great grandfather was
Jacob E. Yochum and married to Mahala America Waters/Water whose sister was Edna Iron. Nickname Haley or Hala. Jacob had 3 brothers:Steve, Charles, Norris and one sister Anna Lou.
Grandfather John Yochum had 4 brothers Russell, Ralph, Carl, and Wilford. Grandparents lived in Cincinnati Ohio in the 60's to early 80's. Had a boarding house there.
I believe everyone was from Ohio in the Sardinia and Brown county areas.
I would greatly appreciate all the help I can get.
