Looking for my birth father, or any family members my father was in the army or air force base in Duluth, MN in 1955 I was born June 1, 1956 in Ironwood, MI My birth mother's name at that time was Gerardine Schmaltz she went by Geri I believed she lived with her sister and brother In-law in Duluth, MN but she was from Ironwood, MI She gave me up for adoption right after birth since she had already had given up my sister at nine months old born 9-15-53 to the Jarvela's also from the Ironwood area but had moved to the Detroit area I met Geri in 1989 she said my sister and I had the same dad she said Richard Springer than I few months later said my dad was Richard Swanson or Swansen Geri said she met my father's mom in MN she thought it was by Minneapolis I think she said his father had passed away. Her sister did not remember a Richard. Geri didn't seem to remember or maybe didn't want to give me the right name. Please contact me.
