Searching for lineage of Robert Forsyth, supposed to have b. Ireland 1786, d.1866 Dryden, Tompkins Co., NY, buried in Old McLean Cemetery. He was enumerated in the US Census 1840 in Groton, Tompkins Co., residing in home of son, Wyatt Allen Forsyth & wife Lovina Jane Hile Forsyth.. I read somewhere that there was an old Forsyth farm in the area, but have not been there to research. Robert is my Gr-gr-grandfather.
