My mother was born 4-3-1944. She was adopted by Joseph and Evelyn (Twite) Becking of West Union IA. She was told her birth mother was LaVera Klemme Leiran (dau of Amelia and Arthur Klemme) originally of Waukon IA, and that she was a cousin of Evelyn's. If anyone has any information on LaVera or her family please get in touch with me. I do know that Amelia was killed by Arthur and Arthur was shot to death by the police in May of 1951. Thank you.
