I am looking for any information on a Robert Douglas and his wife Ann Douglas. They lived in the Chowan County, NC area from around 1698 or sooner till about the 1720's. Robert Douglas appeared in the Perquimans Court in 1698 recording his mark for his livestock. There were deed transactions with Robert Douglas, Planter, and his wife Ann and Ann Douglas witness the Will of James Blount in 1716 in Chowan County, NC. Does anyone know who there children were? There was a Robert Douglas who was transported into the Isle of Wight Co. VA in 1669 by William Oldis and Robert Ruffin. Could this be the same Robert Douglas of Chowan Co. NC?
