NEW INFO: Birth name Linda Fay Jett, birth mother is Rose Mary Jett, maiden name Wright, born in Independence Missouri, age 21 at time of birth = 1926? Father is Charles Jett, he was born in Bethel Kansas and was 24 at time of birth = 1923? Linda was born in Houston, Harris cty, TX in Jefferson County Hospital. Rose Mary and Charles were living at 2902 Caroline St. in Houston. Charles and Rose Mary were married at the time and had 2 other children. Apparently her adoption happend through the county and not DePelchin Children's Center, although DePelchin did have a card file for the West Family.
Previous Info: Linda Jean West, born December 20,1947. Was adopted through the DePelchin Children's Center in Houston, TX Harris County. I am her daughter and would like to find her biological family, which in turn is mine. I am sorry to say my mom is deceased now. She had wanted to locate her biological family but did not get the chance. West is her adopted name, birth last name unknown. I do know "Linda" is her birth 1st name. She was told she had 2 older sisters. She was placed in the West home through DePelchin in May 1948. I was lucky enough to get a court order to open the adoption file to DePelchin, which was done. But am now being told there is not enough info to search with.
