I am searching for the parents of Adam Scott and his sibs.
Adam was born to parents unknown in 1812 Upper Canada. HIs parents according to census records were born in Canada. Adam married in Yarmouth Canada 1833. Jacob Scott was a witness to that marriage. In 1843-43 Adam Scott was in Macomb County Lennox Township living next door to Charles Scott born Upper Canada 1804. Chalres was married to Caroline in that 1850 Census. They eventually moved to Muskegon MI.
Adam Scott's eldest son Elijah D is buried in a family grave in Holton Muskegon MI next to a Melvin Scott born 1829 in NY and his two wives. Melvin is assumed to be the nephew of Adam Scott. Melvin's Parents were Rhoda Judd and Samuel Scott of Birkshire Mass.
It is suspected therefore that Adam, Charles, Samual and possibly an Enos Scott of Newago MI as well as Ann Scott Osborn, wife of Elijah Osborn, are sibs.
There also seems to be a connection between this Scott group and the Robert Scott family of Hisperia MI as they attended his daugher, Bessie Scott's Marriage which is posted on line.
It is suspected then that Adam's father is John Scott of St David's Canada and that Enos or Amos Scott were his uncles and brothers to John. I am fairly confident that Samual Scott of NY is Adam's Sib.
Does anyone have documention that can connect these 5 Scott people, Samuel, Enos, Charles, Adam and Ann Scott Osborn? Is anyone aware of any children that John Scott of St. David Canada had?
