I was adopted by parents when I was born right at 5 days old.I was born on January 25,1959 In Erie County Buffalo,New York @ Millard Fillmore Hospital Gates circle.I was told by my adopted
father that it was a privete adoption.With a dr. and a lawyer.I was officially adopted by them 1 yr after my birth.In Feb1959.throught the courts.the lawyer was Mr.Bestry.and the Dr.was
Dr.Sacks.The sets of parents then choose not to meet.My adopted mother was unable to have any children.I was told by many that I look so much like my adopted father that he must be my real father.they say they adopted me.I don't believe it.He is now deceased.Anyway,I believe I am his real daughter.That back then he had an affair or an arrangement with the real mother or set up and adopted me.They waited to see after nine monthe what is was going to be.They called and said it was a girl.After 5 days they went to the hospital and picked me up and paid the bills and paid the mother as i was told.And took me home.I was told that my real mothers name was Donna Rabideau.
And she was marrried and had 2 kids already and could'nt afford to keep me. so, she gave me up.
her husbands name was kenneth.I was also told that the real father was dead.I didn't believe that either.My adoption papers read:Baby Girl Rabideau.I also seen a paper that said that Donna and Kenneth Rabideau were legeally seperated by the buffalo city courts. It was in the paper. They lived at 888 Sycamore st. back then.Then I was told just before my adopted fathe died. My mother said he was looking for my mother.And seemed to think or say she was in Washington D.C.
supoosingly because I had a lot of medical troubles.He wanted to know.It was never stated wherther he found her.But, I would love to find my mother.I am asumming she is in her lated 60's or mid to late 70's now. They said they were much younger then them back then.My name then at birth
they named me Susan Ann Sciortino.I was 5 lbs 4 oz.at birth.I lived in Kenmore New York most of my life.At 20 I was married.My name then was susan freiberg I used c.sometimes for my middle inital from my confirmation name. Or just susan.
