I am looking for information about Carrie Belle Benfield. She was born on June 11,1895. She died on February 17,1958. She was married to Robert Edgar Hefner who was born on January 11,1887 in North Carolina. Robert died on April 8,1966. They had one son named Glenn Leroy Hefner who was born on April 2,1917 and died on May 3,1989.
I have no information on Carrie at all and would love to find out more about her. On her death certificate I found it listed her name as Carrie Clifford Benfield Hefner. I am curious as to where the name " Clifford " comes in. I don't know of another marriage for her but I have been told that there was a neighbor named Clifford at that time.
