Seeking information on: the family of Jakob and Lydia FREY. Jakob was born abt. 1890 in Russia, Bessarabia area. Jakob is the grandson of Christoph Frey b: 14 Aug 1836 Kloestitz, Bessarabia, Russia and Louisa Bauch b: 29 Jan 1837 in Kloestitz, Bessarabia. His Father is one of the son’s of Christoph FREY. I think either Johann b; 1861 or Jacob b: 1866 both in Kloestitz, Bessarabia. Jakob and Lydia immigrated to Argentina, sometime between 1923 and 1930. Jakob had 5 children that I know of, Ella, born 1922 in Germany, Hulda, Sara, David, Ida all born in Argentina. Jakob is the brother of my grandmother Rebekka FREY b: 16 Oct 1899 Russia. She immigrated to America in 1923 and went to the home of her Uncle Phillip FREY in Gregory County, South Dakota. Rebekka received letters from Jakob and other family members that were post marked (General Pinedo, Chaco, Argentina.) Jakob and Rebekka’s mother was also in Argentina with Jakob and I am searching for her name. Also mentioned in the letters were sisters: Rosalia, Hulda and husband Fritz, Hulda and Daniel Zaiser, Gottfried Hoffmann, Friedrich Hoffman and wife Amalia, Jacob and Emma Menke or Menge. All information of this family went with Rebekka when she died in 1943.
