I am a caucasian, female adoptee born on August 8, 1970, in North Carolina. I was placed in a boarding home five days after my birth in Mecklenburg County, and adopted on October 1, 1970, through United Family Services. My birth mother and her maternal grandmother were the only individuals who knew of the pregnancy (from what I have been told). My birth mother was from Maryland, but was, at the time of my birth, living in North Carolina. My birth mother, at the time of my birth, was 19 years old, had hazel eyes and brown hair, was 5'6" tall, weighed 125 lbs, and was of Russian and Polish descent. My birth father, at the time of my birth, was 23 years old, had hazel eyes and brown hair. They were unmarried. Both were Protestant.
