I am trying to find out if anyone has any info on a name change from Badcock/ Babcock/ Baddcock/ Babbcock/ Babbit/ Babbitt/ Babber/ or any other variation to Babb/ Babbs. Not sure of a date or place. Have my family history back to a John Babb (wife unknown) Having a son Charles Babb b. abt 1873 d. Jan 9, 1938, Married to Bertha M. Conklin bef 1894 (she's the daughter of John Conklin & Anna Storms) they had 2 children Edward Edgar Babb, & Lucy May Babb. any info would be a great help.
