In search of my Brother. DOB-10/12/1963,Born in Salt Lake City,Utah. Hospital- LDS Childrens Hospital, Birth Parent Mother- Katherine Lee Gorrell ( Used the name Dickson on the paperwork).Birth Mothers DOB- August 19,1947, Birth Mother was 5'2 or 5'3 small build, Brown hair, Brown eyes.
Birth mother was 16 at the time of Birth, She lived with a family in Salt lake City, Utah untill the baby was born,Had a tough delivery, had to stay in the hospital a few days after birth, Then went to stay with the family she was living with in SLC,Utah until the doctor released her to go to her home in Boise, Idaho.
The Baby Boy was adopted through the LDS Church in SLC, Utah. We were told he was adopted by an LDS Family. We have been told he is still alive and as of 12 years ago he still lived within a 100 mile radious of SLC, Utah. I do have non-identifing information on the adopted Parents. The Adopted Mother was 31 at the Time of Adoption, She had been on a Mission through the LDS Church. The adopted Father was 32 at the time of adoption, he had served in the Military. The Adopted Parents wrote to each other while on the mission and in the Military for 16 months. They dated for 6 weeks and then they were married. The adopted Parents was in a car accedent, they were hit by a drunk drive and the adopted Mother suffered a brain hemorrhage which left her temorarily paralized on the right side of her body. She did have surgery to correct the problem. The adopted mother had worked as a sewing machine operator and the Adopted Father worked as a Dairy Farmer.
