Looking for Info. regarding John Sullivan who worked for The Passage Steamboat CO. before 1913
I am looking for information on John O'Sullivan or Sullivan who had lived
and worked in a town called Passage and worked for the Passage Steamboat Co.
in County Cork Ire. he issued tickets for many years.
This was before June 1913. My Great Grandfather John O'Neil had taken a
trip back to Ire. in June 1913 and kept a diary and he mentioned his brother in law
John Sullivan who had passed away but John had spoken many times of Passage
My great grandmother Julia O'Sullivan O'Neil was born in County Cork Ire.
circa 1870 her parents were Timothy and Catherine Barrett . I know Julia had
at least 1 sister Johanna who also married an O'Neill other than that the
family has no information regarding any other sisters.
The only other information we have is when my great grandfather John sailed
from Boston to County Cork Ire. that he was accompained by his wife and
brother in law R. Sullivan .
Julia and John had married in 1887 at the Sacred Heart Church Cambridge Ma.
they lived in Cambridge and Springfield Ma. and then back to Cambridge.
Johanna and her husband Jeremiah lived in Cambridge Ma. and I think Johanna
also lived in Somerville Ma. for a time after her husband died and then
moved back to Cambridge.
If this sounds famailar to anyone please let me know . I have not been able
to find any information regarding my Sullivan family.
