We lived in Winnipeg, Ontario. Our parents names were Leon and Mary Rosabelle(Rose) Johnston. (nee McDonald) and that is all the information that I have about them.My mother's parents were Hugh McDonald, born on July 14th, 1901 and Rosanna McDonald(nee Godin)born on August 4th, 1905 at Rainy River(she is of Metis background)My mother was a ward of the Rainy River agency in 1939-(D.O.B.02/26/31 in Burrow Bay, Kenora District, Ontario). We all were taken away by the Children's Aid Society, because our parents were chronic alcoholics, and we went through a lot of abuse.I also have aunts and uncles as well, so if I could find anybody in my family, that would be great!
