I am searching for my birth mother, birth father or any existing siblings. Due to age, my parents may not be alive any longer. I was born in Memphis, TN on March 1, 1955. I was adopted at the age of 8 months by two wonderful parents who are now deceased. I am alone. My adoptive mother always told me that my birth mother was single and it was her desire that I be adopted by a Christian family. My parents are from Lake County, TN and my adoptive mother said she always suspected that my birth mother was from the same area. I don't know if she really knew and did not tell me for fear that I would leave to look for her. My adoptive mother and I always had differents opinions and views. I was definitely a Daddy's girl. My mother became very paranoid after he died. She was certain that I was going to seek my birth family and leave her alone. She lived like that for twenty-three years. I have brown hair with red highlights and hazel eyes. One of my first employers always swore that I was from Irish descent.
