I am searching for a male child I gave up for adoption. He was born in Phoenix, AZ on November 2nd, 1982 and his adoptive parents were kind enough to send me pictures of him when he was about 6 months old. The attorney that handled the adoption was Thomas (Tom) Haney and the baby boy had a card on his basinette that had the name "Stone" on it (for confidentiality, I was told). He was a whopping 10 pounds at birth and I only got to give him a kiss on the forehead because the nurses thought that holding him would make me want to change my mind about the adoption. I believe the hospital was Maryvale Hospital but am not positive. I am trying to locate him for both health reasons and heritage reasons. My maiden name was Padilla and the biological father's last name (believe it or not) was/is? Smith.
