I was born on April 17, 1969 in Georgia. I assume Atlanta. I was given the birth name Letitia Marie. However, my adopted parents changed it to Amanda Dean. I was adopted at 5 weeks of age through either Henry County or Clayton County Children's Services. Prior to that, I was in foster care.
My adopted parents told me that my parents were in high school when my mother got pregnant. Her mother died (maybe) of cancer and she lived with her grandmother. Her grandmother wanted her to put me up for adoption.
