I am an adopted child in search of birth parents. I know I was born in Fort Gordon Hospital in Augusta, GA to a father in the army, last name of Blanton, and a very young mother, around the age of 15 or 16 on August 8, 1971. I am currently 37 years old and have a 13 year old son that wants to know his full genetic heritage as well as reconnect me with my roots in hopes of healing emotional problems dealing with adoption and what adopted parents have possibly lied to me or misinformed me about. My birth grandparents were going to adopt me, but my maternal grandma found out she was also pregnant around the same time as my mother, so this didn't happen. I was adopted in a closed adoption due to legal matters. I want my birth parents to know that no matter what happened back then, ALL IS FORGIVEN. I just want to make ammends to all parties I may have hurt or may have hurt me before I die. My health is failing due to my own hand and problems, which I take full responsibility for. My final wish is to know the wonderful individuals that brought me into this world.
