I am looking for my birth mother and father for medical history. I have a son who has an auto immune disease called Wegner's. I was born July 24, 1951 in Essex county. My mother was sixteen and my father was in the Navy. They spent a weekend together and she became pregnant. I was place with the Children's Aid Society in Newark or East Orange. Miss Olive Smith was the social worker for my case. I was adopted in September 1951. The adoption was finalized 10/31/1952. My name at the Children's Aid Society was Baby Jan.
