I'm searching for my birth mother. My name at birth was Christine Elizabeth Cottrelle and I was born in Ottawa, ON on Feb. 24, 1967 at Civic Hospital. My mother was single at the time and gave me up because she thought I'd be better off in life with two parents to love and care for me. The adoption was handled through the Children's Aid Society. She lived with her mother who was a widow. She worked for the governement. She was very good at updating health history over the years - and in 1985 had indicated that she would be interested in a reunion. She had married (not to my father)but had no other children.
