I am looking to connect with the history of my family. This is what I know. The Chitwoods are Cherokee Indians who walked the Trail of Tears from Georgia. I do not believe they signed the Roll. I do not know of any living relatives other than my dad, his brother, and sister. Also I have two cousins living in Oklahoma. I would love to know more about my family.
