I am trying to find information about my family history. My great,great grandfather was Samuel C. Valentine. He was married to Mary Jane Liming. My great grandmother was their daughter and her name was Edith Mae Valentine. She married my great grandfather Thomas Edward Pillois in New York. They had a son named Louis Valentine Pillois, who was born in Oyster Bay Harbor, New York. I don't know anything about my dad's side of the family as he died when I was 4 years old. If anyone could help me with my research I would really appreciate it. I have been told that there is a possibility of Cherokee being in my blood as well and would like to know if this is true. I am really interested in knowing the family tree so that I can know who I am.
