i was born July 21 1956 in NYC at NY Hosp.(FORTUNE)went to my adoptive home at 2 weeks old(adoption finalized in feb.58) from spence chapin adopt. agency in NYC.found bio mom in 2005-deceased.carol cartwright beall who lived in kill devil hills ,NC.looking for bio dad,who i believe she met while attending college in NYC(perhaps NYU?-trying to confirm that)the only info i have about him is they met in NY(i don,t believe he was a student)they were together for awhile,told they considered getting married.but didn't.he was into flying planes, he was over 6 ft.,blond hair,blue eyes,of dutch descent.i have no name for him(unless it's on my original birth cert.if i could figure out how one might view that or where to find it!carol was from VA. returned ther for her masters in art then moved to the outer banks,NC for most of the rest of her life.she has a brother named james,that i found & met,but he barely knew i existed and knew nothing of who my father might be.i am desperate to find my bio dad or at least a name before he passes,too.carol named me at birth-Fortune.
