I'm looking for the parents of Stephen Thomas, born early 1800's, probably in South Carolina. Three of his several children were Emily Catherine, Calvin, and Carney. Stephen was murdered in Coosa County, Al. in 1861, accused of harboring "deserters". Any connections out there?
