Lillian was not married at the time of Helen's birth. Helen was raised by her maternal grandmother, Laura Belle Hoskins and step-grandfather, John Dickinson, near Carter, SD. Lillian married William Weller in 1914 and had 6 sons: Donald, William, Gerald, Harold, Eugene and Charles (Helen's half brothers) Helen married Frank Ryschon Aug 31, 1925 and they lived near Valentine, NE.
