I am trying to find where Joshua Hamilton Taylor, born in 1802 Blount County, TN and his wife, Mary Brickey are burried. Mary is the daughter of William Brickey and Eleanor Dobkins Brickey. Joshua and Mary were married on Aug 25 1825 in Blount County and had sons James b. 1831, William b. 1839, John b. 1841, Levi b. 1843, and Adam b. 1834. They also had 5 daughters, Mary Jane b. 1848, Nancy b. 1836, Phebe b. 1829 who married James Magill Walker, Susan b. 1826 and married James A. Bowman, and Margaret. Mary is in the 1860 Census for Walker County, GA at Rock Spring, along with several of her grown children but Joshua is not listed. Joshua is listed in the 1850 Blount County, TN Census with their children but Mary is not listed. If you have any information about this family, please email me.
