Searching for KRENWINKEL / KRENWINKLE from area of Verl and Detmold and worldwide. Conrad KRENWINKEL / KRAINWINKEL immigrated to the US in September 1868 and settled in DuPage County and Kane County, Illinois. He was born July 1847 in Verl to Heinrich KRAIENWINKEL (1805-1873) and Anna Maria KLEINEMAS 1818-1873). He died May 1910 in Aurora, Kane County, Illinois. He managed farms. His brother, Ferdinand, and sister, Elizabeth, immigrated June 1867 and settled in Aurora, Kane County, Illinois, USA. Later, Ferdinand (Frank) moved to Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California with much of his family. He was married to Catherine PATERMANN in Germany. I am told there is still a "KRENWINKEL Farm" in the Verl area.
