Birth parents: I am a male born April 30,1964 at 9:35 a.m. 7lb. 2oz. in Crittenton General Hospital in Detroit, MI. My name at birth was John Robert. I was received by my adoptive parents on May 28, 1964 from Protestant Youth Organization, Inc. out of Detroit, MI., after being in a foster home.Adoption was finalized June 15, 1965 in Midland County Court where my adoptive parents lived at the time. My file says my birth mother was 16 years old and of German descent and had allergies to eggs and wool. She had blond hair and blue eyes and was 5'2" tall and 150 lbs. She lived with her maternal grandparents and her grandfather signed the papers releasing me for adoption. It also stated my her mother was 36 and her father died in a automobile accident at the age of 38.It also said my birth mother had other sibling living with other relatives two sisters one 11 and 14 and one brother 13. They all had blue eyes. My birth father was 20 years old and was planning on going into the military and was employed as a farm hand. He had black hair and brown eyes and was 6'3" tall and stated that the paternal grandfather was retired at time of my birth.
