I am searching for my dad's biological sibling who was placed for adoption in approximately 1957.
I believe this person was a boy. My grandmother hid the pregnancy from the family and never spoke of it after. There were those who found out about it and she lied saying the child had died but her medical records listed 4 live births, but only 3 children are accounted for. She died a few years ago and the Aunt she lived with during her pregnancy has come forward with very little information.
The birth mother's maiden name is Donna Beth Hart. She was born in Haxtun, CO on June 11, 1936 as the oldest of 5 children. Her last name at the time of the birth/adoption was Wilson but that is not the father's surname.
There are 3 siblings - 2 older brothers, and 1 younger sister. The sister is now deceased.
It is absolutely within the realm of possibility that this person (my aunt or uncle!) tried to contact his/her birth mother before she died and was turned away. I don't know if they would even know to search for siblings, or wear to look. The surnames of the older brother's is Wilson, the surname of the younger sister is Barker. Donna was married three times and her surname at the time of her death was Sparks.
