The family lived in Bloomington, McLean County, Illinois. In 1899, John and his wife, Jennie moved to Snohomish County, Washington. Shortly after (by about 1901), George and his wife as well as Alfred, Mary (sans Whitfield) and Susan (sans Joseph) relocated to Snohomish County, Washington as well.
