I am searching for my husbands birth family. He was born Dec.28th, 1950. He was in foster care till he was 3yrs. old and then adopted by a family, through Lutheran Social Services.He was adopted in May of 1953. He doesn't know if he has any siblings, he doesn't know his birth parents names. He was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin. The adoption records are sealed, as was the case back then. He has attempted on numerous times to get the files opened, and was denied. Finding a sibling or a parent would answer a lot of questions for him.
He has used the Wisconsin adoption.com site, and has paid a small fortune to them only to be told, his birth mother did not give consent for the record to be opened. He was also told his birth mother passed away at age 57 from brain cancer, but they would not tell him where. The birth father's name is not on the birth certificate, but he ( birth father) did give some health history information. Your personal information will only be used to contact the submitter and will not be saved or used for any other purpose.
