Found in a box on the steps of the Evangelical Hospital in Chicago , Illinois the evening of the above date. Observed for one week at hospital.
Fostered for 7 months through Bensonville Home and then adopted at 8-9 months.
Adoption was sealed.
Court adoption papers had the name of Bertha Evangeline- this is the actual name confirmed by recent receipt of original birth certificate.
