I need help finding any information on my family before S.T. Stewart. He was my great great grand father. His census records show he was born in GA. He also was known by my family to be unofficially adopted by the Stewart's. My family told me he was a Baker adopted as a Stewart.
Also, that he had a Jones family living in Geneva as well. They said it was his step family? He was born in est. May of 1846. I found him on a census record from Henry Cty. In 1860 at the age of 9 living witha Thomas and Milby Baker who together had a son named Joseph. My gg grandad S.T. Stewart who was also known as Saul, married a woman named Missouri. The census records have them married in 1885. The two had 6 children on the 1900 census. One being my great grand dad Albert Amzie Stewart born Jan 1892. He was the father of my granddad Buford Stewart who was located on the Geneva County census in 1920. Albert married Nancy Quentine Clark in 1915. My grand dad Buford married my Granny Agnes Mary Redmon/Redman. They both lived in black alabama and had my dad and 6 other children. My father James DENNIS Stewart(Dennis) and my granny both still live in Black today. My granny and grandad also lived in Mount Dora Florida on Wolf Branch Road in the 60's before Buford died in the 70's of cancer. Any information on the family would be greatly appreciated. My family has not gone into details before Grand Dad Saul. I'm not sure if any one in my family knows anything about Saul before he was a Stewart. Thanks Crystal Stewart
