My child was given up for adoption after birth. She was born on 12/26/72 and was delivered by Dr. Walter Derryberry who was a friend of the adoptive parents in Cookville, TN. I was told they were a nice family,(the dad was a dean at Tennessee Tech) and the Mom was a nurse and had 2 other kids.They were Mormon. I was told the baby was a girl but was never allowed to hold her.
