I am looking for my birth mother. My birth name is Lara Bannister. I was born on February 13, 1968 in Utica, NY. My mother and father were unwed at the time. They were both African-American. I received non-identifying information about her saying she was about 22 years old when I was born. She had 2 brothers and 2 sisters. A lutheran Social Service agency handled the adoption in 1970. I think the agency is defunct now. I would love any information to this adoption and my family if possible.
