Born in Rochester, Ny, Monroe Co. on 3/23/1960 at Park Avenue Hospital. It was a private adoption. The attorney they used was named of Lester H. Rappaport. I was brought to my adopted parent's, the Robach's on March 26th, three days after my birth, by the attorney's wife. I think my adoptive parents payed for all the hospital bills and met my birth mother. The info I have was written by my adopted mother who received the history personally from my birth mother. The judge was named Rodgers.
My Mother was born in Bangor Maine, 1931 of English decent. She was 29 when I was born. She had hazel eyes, was 5'5", and had light brown hair with a slender build. She was easy going ,artistic, witty, and had a nervous energy. She was a practicing Protestant. Her mother died when she was 16, and was raised by her grandmother. She had 2 brothers & 5 sisters. She was married by the justice of the peace while her husband was in the service. At the time of my birth she had been married for 5 years and had 3 children born prior. She worked at at a restaurant as a waitress /clerk. My father was catholic and a restaurant owner. He was 5'8", medium build, had dark brow hair, and hazel eyes of Italian decent with a quiet temperament. He had a high school education and was a WWII veteran. He was married. While my mother spoke highly of my birth father, they had no apparent plans to form a permanent relationship. My family is said to be still located in Rochester.
