I am seeking information about the parents of William Riley Brookshire. I would also like information about William Riley's first wife, last name thought to be Robison (information from Don Terry). William Riley was born 15 June 1821 in TN and died 18 March 1896. WR and his second wife, Elizabeth Thacker Brookshire, are buried in the Cottage Grove Cemetery, near Polo, MO (Caldwell County). Elizabeth's date of birth is 8 Apr. 1824, died 7 May 1887. I also cannot find him in the 1850 census and would like help with that.
