Still searching for info on the family of Martin Earhart and Jeanette Garvey of Miami County, Ohio. Lived in Staunton Twp at time of 1850 census. They relocated to Mason County, Illinois in abt 1852. In the 1860 census in Mason County, Illinois Martin had died.
In the 1880 census Jeanette was keeping house for her eldest son, James W. Earhart, a 33 year old farmer and still single. At that time they were liveing in Pennsylvania, Mason county, Illinois.
She was the daughter of Jane T Caven and Matthew Garvey of Rockbridge County, VA.
There daughter, Margaret C. Earhart married James Denman in Mason Co., Illinois on 3/19/1879 they returned to Piqua, Miami Co. in time for 1880 census.
