Smith,Stewart,Dunn,Willis I am looking for information about the parents and grandparents of my grandfather David William Smith. His father was William David Smith and his mother was Arzella Stewart Smith. His grandparents were King William Smith and Elizabeth Willis Smith and David Stewart and Cleminine Dunn Stewart. The Stewarts came from Franklin County IN, then moved to Knox Co., Ill and then to Wayne Co., IA. The Smiths were both born in Cumberland County, Penn. and married there in 1844. They had one daughter Mary J. while in Penn. They moved to Putnam Co., Illinois Where they had two more daughters and a son, William David (my ggf). From Ill., they moved to Wayne Co., IA. I would like to know the names of David and Clemintine Stewarts other daughters and the names of (King) William and Eliazbeth Smith's other children. Both sets of greats lived and farmed near Seymour in Wayne County Iowa during the last half of the 1800's. I am also trying to find the names of the parents of both sets of greats.
