Their oldest child, Joseph Hummel, married Lilly Yettman and they had 6 childen: Elmer Hummel (wife, Mary; child Alma Hummel, who married Mr. Abele); Roland Hummel (wife, A. Von Gesen; child Roland Hummel, Jr.); Joseph; Edward (married G. Dalton; child Genevieve Hummel); William Hummel (child William Hummel, Jr.); and Howard Hummel (child Howard Hummel, Jr.). Roland Hummel, Jr. married Ruth Henze; childen: Gordon Hummel (married Joan); Geraldine Hummel (married E. Murphy); Barbara Hummel; Janet Hummel; and Alexander Hummel. Joseph Hummel's siblings were Sarah Hummel (married R. Nichols), Gus Hummel, Wilhelmina Hummel (married James McAlarney, my great-grandparents), Rose Hummel (married H. Myer), Susan Hummel (married H. Pyle), and Emma Hummel (married R. Williamson). I would dearly love to hear from any of my Hummel cousins.
