You are contacting the submitter of the query: Hi from New Zealand.In 1969 i discovered an old seachest in a friends fathers barn on their farm.I discovered it was left there by a neighbour who left it there for safe keeping with my friends grandfather,in 1914 when this young man left for Gallipolli and the middle east.He was killed in Palestine in 1917.The seachest contained letters,diaries,photos,reciepts,some personal effects and clothing.The young mans name was Henry Rodger FARMER of Stirling.His father was William FARMER of Stirling.His mother was Mary jane McBeath Craig FARMER.She shifted to Portobello around 1904 to be nearer her two elder sons Charles and William Sydney(Syd).Mr Farmer had a sister Agnes in Mussellburgh.Mrs Farmer shifted to Braid rd,Edinburgh around 1919 and died in Inveresk 1925.Ive spent 30 years writing a biography on this mans life and would love to find living relatives to fill in some missing info and share it with.Regards Graeme Duckett.New Zealand Your personal information will only be used to contact the submitter and will not be saved or used for any other purpose.
